Job Description: Job Profile : Provides technical expertise, analysis, and Operation Support for all operating units and equipment within the plants, under Reliability TL Scope’s: through - Provide Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) services & implement a sustainable structured maintenance improvement process, based on RCM/ Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) techniques. 2) Support on establishment of Operational reliability improvement process & implementation of continuous improvement to manage refinery assets at peak performance, while optimizing lifetime return on investment, mitigate reliability risk .3) Supports in order to increase equipment reliability by improving time between failures while reducing equipment downtime and manufacturing costs. The position will act in accordance with the OQ8’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Oman’s government & other legal justification’s, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives. Main tasks and responsibilities • Develop, review, and verify new and existing Equipment/maintenance Strategies (ES) & PM plans based on Company approved procedures and standards to maximize equipment availability and reliability. • Facilitate RCM-FMEA sessions with cross functional teams to develop Equipment/asset Criticality (EC) and Equipment Strategy (ES). • Communicate and liaise with other Engineering disciplines, Maintenance and Operations to receive guidelines on basic PM tasks and procedures while preparing ES. • Prepare and process PMCRs (Preventive Maintenance Change Requests) with all necessary technical documentation to facilitate designated timely approval and SAP implementation as per Company procedures. • Monitor the status of PMCR processing based on priority to ensure that the PMCRs are completed in a timely manner. • Provide RCM and maintenance engineering support service to stakeholders to confirm equipment strategy is in place for Company and projects. • Support maintenance planning for SAP implementation to ensure all PM plans are in place to mitigate unreliability. • Monitor the quality of implementation of PM in SAP to confirm correct ES are in place with right task lists, work center, frequency, and schedule. • Prepare RCM presentation for asset monthly meetings to report the KPIs and status of PMCRs/RCM and key issues during the meetings. • Gather & Analyze the Maintenance history and equipment technical data using company CMMS & DMS and utilize for RCM study. PRODUCT RESPONSIBILITY a) Maintain healthy relationship with suppliers/principals. b) Ensure that import prices not only takes care of Market needs but assures company the profit objectives set out. c) Ensure that principals are constantly kept abreast of Market happenings both general & product specific. d) Wherever necessary involve HOD in price negotiations with Suppliers. e) Maintain proper diligence & discipline in advising Code Number at the time of preparing OPOs. f) Take care to see that terms agreed by us to our customers match the terms that we get our suppliers to accept and have them detailed in the OPO. g) Keep close tab on the progress of OPOs. h) Communicate to customers deviations for accepted path, however after consultation with HOD. i) Ensure Consultants/Contractors are provided adequate technical knowledge on the products and work on having them specified. 3. ORDER EXECUTION a) Ensure orders are executed well within Delivery Date committed/accepted. b) Wherever approvals are required from client/consultant, take necessary action well and early (drawings, material, installation materials etc.). c) Co-ordinate with Marketing Co-Ordinator, and initiate SOR preparation and ensure it is sent to warehouse well and early - at least 3 weeks in advance in case of projects - 2 to 3 days in advance in case of normal order. This would ensure that warehouse personnel gets adequate time for planning deliveries. d) Assist warehouse in getting signature on DOR wherever they find the client/his site personnel makes matters difficult. e) Provide drawing to and brief Technical Support Cell on installation/commissioning wherever involved. f) Keep tab on installation progress, guiding the installers through the process. g) Source & provide installation materials as and when required. h) Obtain commissioning & completion report duly signed by client/his Project Manager. i) Complete handing over of O&M manuals and other project submissions within two weeks of installation. 4. RECOVERIES a) Assist Credit Control, wherever required, to get payment I payment certificates, thus ensuring invoices get paid for within agreed credit period. 5. SHOWROOM a) Organize proper display in the showroom b) Educate showroom staff on new products 6. WAREHOUSE a) Visit stores frequently and inspect storage condition of products. b) Initiate corrective measures if storage is not as required, and report back to HOD
